Passing of the Torch
Farming isn’t a career, it’s a way of life. Though for the next generation of young farmers, the path to success looks a lot different than it did to our forefathers.
Many farms are at a crossroads when it comes down to future operations. With margins getting tighter, we’re faced with big questions… “Is it worth it?” and if so “How are we going to get there?”
It’s a numbers game. The days are just as long, but the more smooth and efficient we can make our front lines, the more time we open up on the back end. To combat a growing world population, we need to not only excel in our industry, we have to set new industry standards altogether. One of the only ways we are going to be able to do that is to utilize the technology we have available to us.
The necessary systems, applications, programs, and procedures are already here. We need to embrace the inevitable and put them to use. And there’s no time like the present to start.

“If better is possible, at what point is good, good enough?.”
